Camp Jabulani
“A secluded retreat in the heart of the Kapama Game Reserve”
- Fantastic interaction with 12 elephants
A private butler
Camp Jabulani, built along the banks of a seasonal stream, is affectionately named after a baby elephant, abandoned by its herd and rehabilitated by the Camp’s founders. It is at this superlative lodge that guests can interact with 12 trained elephants on a truly unrivalled African adventure. Six, immaculately furnished suites boast oh-so comfy beds, spacious sitting rooms (with fireplaces), large free-standing stone baths, glass-enclosed showers with views over the adjacent surrounds, private verandas and plunge pools.
Food at the lodge is simply mouth-watering. From lavish breakfasts and gourmet picnics to formal-plated or private riverbed dinners, guests will enjoy a truly decadent culinary experience. Camp Jabulani is world-renowned for its magical elephant safaris. Guests can embark on twice-daily elephant rides (including a popular spotlit night ride); twice-daily game drives in 4x4 safari vehicles, bush walks, bird watching and a visit to the Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre.
A proud member of the Relais & Châteaux.
