Overlooking the Boro River and surrounded by ebony and sausage trees, Sanctuary Stanley’s Camp is a beautiful tented safari camp that offers its guests the opportunity to experience the magnificent variety of large mammals and pristine habitat of the Okavango Delta. Eight classically-styled tents are raised on wooden platforms, each providing a private deck with hammock and Morris chairs, a gracious ensuite bathroom and ceiling fans.
The main guest area is also housed on wooden decking, which offers expansive views over the surrounding floodplains, while an inviting swimming pool provides a welcome retreat from the midday sun. Guests can enjoy exclusive bush meals in tranquil settings and a variety of activities that range from exhilarating, twice-daily game drives on the private concession (night drives can also be arranged) and informative guided walking safaris to gentle mokoro (dug-out canoe) excursions and a unique opportunity to interact with elephants - a definite must.
