You will be driven to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport to catch a flight to Vilanculos Airport (flight not included in costing). On arrival at Vilanculos you will be welcome by a member of the &Beyond team, who will take you to Benguerra Lodge.
As the second largest island of the Bazaruto Archipelago, Benguerra
offers exceptional opportunities to witness a slice of Mozambique's
incredible marine life and experience an abundance of island
activities. Characterised by its towering sand dunes, inland lakes and
idyllic beaches, Benguerra was declared a National Park in 1971. It is
home to over 140 bird species and the pristine waters surrounding the
island, as well as the exceptional archipelago, are home to the rare
dugong and one of the most untouched coral reeds in the world. Guests
visiting the island awake to the sounds of fishermen trading their
daily catch from their traditional sailing dhows and embark on a series
of adventures such as romantic dhow cruises, diving, snorkelling and
exhilarating catch-and-release deep-sea fishing.
Indulge in four nights in a casita room at Benguerra Lodge. Your stay includes all meals and drinks (excluding selected spirits and wines), a private butler service, laundry and adventures such as snorkelling, sea kayaking, picnics, dhow cruises, island tours and village excursions, perfect for a romantic honeymoon adventure.
