This safari begins and ends in Nairobi.

DAY 1 & 2: LAIKIPIA PLATEAU

On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be welcomed be a member of the &Beyond team, who will assist you onto a transfer vehicle waiting to take you to Wilson Airport for your next flight to Loisaba airstrip. Shortly after arrival, enjoy a short game drive en route to camp.

The eastern escarpment of the Rift Valley, known as the Laikipia Plateau, is divided into enormous game reserves. The plateau is home to more endangered species than anywhere else in East Africa.

Relax for two nights in a luxury cottage at Mutamaiyu House. Your stay includes meals, soft drinks, beer, house wine and non-luxury spirits, day and night game drives in the Mugie Wildlife Conservancy, bush breakfast, sundowner, bush walks, fishing, a visit to Mugie School, Gala Graves and the bloodhounds and laundry.

Day 3 - 5: Masai Mara National Reserve

You will be driven to Loisaba airstrip, from where you will be flown to Kichwa Airstrip. A vehicle will be waiting to take you on a game drive to the camp.

Kenya's most renowned game park, the Masai Mara is situated on the northern border of Tanzania's Serengeti National Park. Its legendary Great Migration of over two million wildebeest and other antelope has been described as one of nature's greatest wildlife spectacles. Game viewing is wonderful year round, with virtually guaranteed sightings of the Big Five.

Linger for three nights in a luxury safari tent at &Beyond Kichwa Tembo Masai Mara Tented Camp. Your stay includes meals, tea and coffee, scheduled activities, transport to and from the airstrip and emergency medical evacuation insurance.

Day 6 - 8: Mombasa

Catch a light aircraft flight to the coast.

Protected by an offshore barrier coral reef, Kenya's south coast is famous for beautiful and safe beaches, as well as spectacular diving, fishing and surfing. Offshore lie two magnificent marine reserves, both offering superb diving.

Spend three nights in a cliff villa at Alfajiri Villas. Your stay includes meals, wine, beers, soft drinks, laundry, 24-hour nannies, a personal butler, a ngalawa (local boat) at your disposal for snorkelling excursions to the coral reef, use of the guest library and games, chauffered transport within the Diani Beach area, as well as use of the gym, sauna and steam bath at a nearby property.  

Day 9: Departure

You will be driven to Ukunda Airport, from where a flight will take you to Nairobi. On arrival, you will be met by a member of the &Beyond team, who will drive you back to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, where your adventure with us will end.
