It is always a pleasure to receive feedback on how the &Beyond experience has touched our guests. For many of them, a life-long love affair with Africa's wide open spaces and its incredible wildlife has started at one of our lodges across the continent. Others have formed lasting friendships with the warm and welcoming &Beyonders they have met on safari. "Mnemba was fantastic - again. When we were there last year we said to each other afterwards that our four days there were really too short and that if we would return we were going to stay longer. So it became eight days this time. And guess what?"

Next time we'll spend two weeks because eight days wasn't long enough, either. And I am pretty sure we'll say the same about two weeks. Everything was just perfect. Sarah, Mike and Pete are really doing a great job there. It felt like coming home, and we will definitely return in the near future.

"It was my first "barefoot luxury experience"; I did not know the term before this trip and now I am addicted."

A small, remote environment (no or limited connection to the outside world, important when your job expects you to be connected while on vacation), like minded people/guests, real connection with the local people/staff, staff extremely friendly and welcoming. You feel like you are visiting friends. It is my favorite type of vacation now, and what I seek out and measure other experiences by.

"Having already spent 10 magnificent days in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater, I did not think that things could get any better. Well, that was until we went to Mnemba. There is nothing like it on earth!"

Diving with dolphins and thousands of tropical fish, spending quality time on a private island surround by a turquoise blue sea, eating fresh sea food, having service that rivals anything else on the planet together with seeing a turtle lay its eggs made this the highlight of a once in a lifetime holiday.
