At Ngorongoro Crater Lodge everything comes together: unequalled service, the finest interiors and architecture I have seen in Africa and the most breathtaking scenery on earth. I enjoyed the mysterious and adventurous atmosphere on the Crater's edge, the most exclusive bathtub-view on the planet, the interesting people you meet in the bar room and the buffaloes and zebras out in the front yard. I consider it excellent that staying with &Beyond means doing something good for the environment and local communities. For me, sustainability and conservation are keywords of modern entrepreneurship and &Beyond elegantly combines this with the most extraordinary safari experience in Africa. I have stayed at Ngorongoro Crater Lodge twice and I can hardly wait to get back. I am also very eager to experience other &Beyond hotels.

"Where do you begin when trying to pick a favorite time in Africa? Our experience at all the &Beyond lodges that we stayed in was beyond amazing. The Crater held an experience that will live in my memory forever."

After an incredible two days of safaris we ended our visit by being invited to the private staff 10 year celebration at the staff quarters. The hospitality and true friendship that was shown to us was amazing. Randy, my husband, and I felt privileged to be a part of the celebration and feel that we still have a part of Africa with us in this memory. I went to Africa for the animals, but came away with much more. A love for the people of Africa. This will be one of the main reasons for my return. Our guides at all of the lodges were amazing and I feel that we left with a few wonderful friends that will live in our hearts forever. I miss Africa so much ... I think of our trip often.
