The breeding habits of the leatherback and loggerhead turtles are one of nature's most enduring secrets. From the end of November to the middle of January a 45-minute drive from Phinda lie the silvery sands where you can watch the wonders of the beach as gigantic turtles make their strenuous way up the beach to lay their eggs.
