Getting to Madikwe Game Reserve
Madikwe is located in the malaria-free North West Province, close to the border between South Africa and Botswana. It is possible to get to the area from Johannesburg by road or by air.
FLIGHTS
The flight from Johannesburg to Madikwe takes approximately an hour and guests will be transferred to Madikwe Safari Lodge on arrival. Flights are generally scheduled for the morning or early afternoon to allow arriving guests to enjoy an afternoon game drive on their day of arrival. Please note that luggage is generally limited to 20 kg per person.

Should you prefer to travel by road, the drive from Johannesburg to Madikwe takes approximately four and a half hours.
