It is always a pleasure to receive feedback on how the &Beyond experience has touched our guests. For many of them, a life-long love affair with Africa's wide open spaces and its incredible wildlife has started at one of our lodges across the continent. Others have formed lasting friendships with the warm and welcoming &Beyonders they have met on safari. "Our travel agent kept calling our travel itinerary a "trip of a lifetime". She used that expression so much before our trip that we kept jokingly referring to it as our "trip of a lifetime"."

And then we got to Africa and we came to understand why our travel agent chose those words. It truly was a trip of a lifetime, with too many incredible experiences to summarize quickly. In a nutshell, the wildlife, people, food, culture and accommodation were absolutely incredible.

"We have traveled widely throughout the world and Ngala was definitely one of our best vacations. My teenage son and 24 year old daughter and wife truly enjoyed taking pictures and seeing the animals. It was so relaxing. The safari breaks were great. "

My wife and I enjoyed the 1 hour afternoon guided walks and learned about how nature uses everything even elephant dung.. The food was delicious. We were served with crystal. Elliott was a great guide and Steve a super tracker. We saw the Big 5 plus many other animals on our 3 day visit. Dennis the camp manager runs a very professional and clean camp. Our 400 square feet huts were spacious and clean.

"We were truly blessed when we received a 2 night stay at the Lodge. It was a warm, friendly African welcome and the staff, accommodation and food were out of this world! "

A special thanks to J.P. our guide and January our tracker for the wildlife experience they gave us. I saw my dream - 2 leopard with an Impala in the same tree and a very optimistic hyena waiting for some morsels. The coffee with Amarula, warm water bottles and blankets kept us warm and cosy. The surprise filled pancakes and sundowners during the game drives made everything more memorable. A big thanks to Mama Coenie and her team - from the cleaning staff, security guards, kitchen staff to our personal butler ( Joel ) for a world class experience!

"WOW! what an incredible trip. We had the most unbelievable, wonderful, awesome experience at Ngala!! Yes, it truly exceeded our expectations. The place was just beautiful and serene and the staff and service is quite possibly the most outstanding I have ever experienced on any of my travels."

Every day was full of surprises from the breakfast in the bush hidden behind a bend in the road under a tree, to the first evening when they whipped out a "full bar" with snacks on our game drive to the dinners hidden in a new, beautifully candle lit location each night, to the bubble baths drawn for a relaxing soak after our evening game drive...I could go on and on. The rangers and trackers were phenomenal and we had the most incredible sightings. Whoever says summer is not the time to go should think again...in winter you will not see a 10 minute old impala trying to stand for the first time; a baby giraffe barely reaching the branches to eat; a tiny elephant, so small it walks underneath its mom and a little rhinoceros feeding with its mother! It can honestly say this was the most memorable, exciting, relaxing and awesome trip i have ever taken. What a great choice of the endless safari possibilities. I cannot imagine it being any better.
