Referred to as “the iconoclastic new kid in town”, Xudum is hailed for its “part-land, part-water experience on a wildlife reserve that’s one of the largest in any permanent African Delta.” The article makes special mention of Xudum’s nine suites that are “furnished with canopied platform beds, freestanding porcelain tubs, and recycled side tables crafted, astonishingly enough, from rubber tires and beer cans.”
