Tell us about your journey and your thoughts and impressions of Africa.
It is always a pleasure to receive feedback on how the &Beyond experience has touched our guests. For many of them, a life-long love affair with Africa's wide open spaces and its incredible wildlife has started at one of our lodges across the continent. Others have formed lasting friendships with the warm and welcoming &Beyonders they have met on safari. Here is just a sample of the incredible comments we have been receiving from our guests staying at Xaranna Okavango Delta Camp.
Will Taylor - Absolutely Wonderful

ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL

WILL TAYLOR
"Xaranna was absolutely wonderful. You have a truly remarkable staff there, who made our stay an absolute joy."
Our ranger was Rams, who could not have been better. He was by far the best Motswana guide I have ever had in terms of his all around ability. He had a gentle way with all of us, and had that perfect balance between being attentive and knowledgeable, maintaining professionalism, yet making himself part of the crowd. The food was ridiculously good and the hospitality overwhelming. The camp itself is great. The water activities, the peace and the sheer beauty of the place are the stars there.

"This lodge was the final destination in our Botswana' tour'. With regard to the wildlife Xaranna offers, it cannot compare with Chobe or Sandibe. Having said that, Xaranna is a magical place which proved to be a perfect location to end our trip to Botswana. The lodge and the remote location will take your breath away!"
We have been to different &Beyond lodges the past years, but Xaranna exceeded our expectations. The service is impeccable, and the staff without any exception very, very attentive and friendly. Leaving here proved to be extremely difficult. A special thanks goes to our guides Chris and Mott, who took us out a number of times to show us the unparalleled beauty of the Okavanga delta. Last but not least we say thanks to Felix, who made us feel @ home, not beyond :-)

LANDSCAPE AND ANIMALS

DECEMBER 2012, GUEST
"Our recent stay at Xaranna was an amazing experience, both for the animals and the landscape that framed them, and for the incredible staff and food preparation."
Although the total number of animals is less than for example the Serengeti or Kruger, the landscape was to us just as important and unmatched by those other locations. The way that even relatively common antelope and zebras were enhanced by their surroundings made for very artistic images, and to see both leopard and lions in those surroundings was even more special. For photographers, the "bokeh" opportunities are unique to this area. Overall I would rather have stayed at Xaranna for the entire 8 days of our trip. We will be back.

MEMORABLE DAYS

GUEST
"One our most memorable days spent was at Xaranna on the Mokoro trip."
Mogwale and Joseph were wonderful knowledgeable guides on that lazy bright day on the water. I wont easily forget the lessons on making a fire with two sticks, or how to trap a bird or call a Honey guide bird or track an elephant !!!The thought of that picnic which we had on that small island even now makes me salivate. ….The safari bug has really bitten us.

"I have to tell you how phenomenal Xaranna was. Everyone, and I mean everyone, was so wonderful and lovely and sweet and accommodating!"
The food was exceptional here! Hail to the chef. Suz and I visited the kitchen and met the chef. She should definitely publish a cook book. The experience here was awesome. The color and design of the interiors and the outdoor spaces was so well done and environmentally flowed into the landscape. I would love to be on the design staff!
