Nxabega Okavango Tented Camp Guest Stories
Tell us about your journey and your thoughts and impressions of Africa.
It is always a pleasure to receive feedback on how the &Beyond experience has touched our guests. For many of them, a life-long love affair with Africa's wide open spaces and its incredible wildlife has started at one of our lodges across the continent. Others have formed lasting friendships with the warm and welcoming &Beyonders they have met on safari. Here is just a sample of the incredible comments we have been receiving from our guests staying at Nxabega Okavango Tented Camp.
Dietrich, Goebel - Best Guide
"Max is the best guide, who can lead closer to the African nature and world/behaviour of animals."
We had many tours with guides but Max was the best. He is sensitive and has a good sense of humor. Dietrich Goebel
Diane Woodard - Botswana with &Beyond!

"Botswana with &Beyond!"
Sleeping under canvas at Nxabega was one of the most romantic experiences ever. Bouncing off-road at Sandibe on our very first game drive to actually see a beautiful leopard just as the sun was going down - well, it can hardly get any better. Sitting around a large table with people from all over the world talking excitedly like children at a birthday party - simply magic.
David Cobb - Delta Dreams
"Magic ... pure magic. That is the only way to describe the experience. We could have never imagined the pure, life-affirming joy we experienced during our stay."
Immersed in some of the world's most beautiful landscapes, surrounded by Africa's most majestic of creatures, and hosted and befriended by some of the warmest people we have ever encountered - no other travels we have ever done can compare to our &Beyond experience.
Jeannette Grabe - Nxabega
"We couldn't say enough great things about the Nxabega lodge."
It's one of the most spectacularly natural of the &Beyond lodges we have been to. In particular, the dining area excels in allowing you to experience 5 star luxury while feeling totally immersed in nature.
Patrick Cantwell - Nxabega waters at sunset
"Being taken on a boat ride at dusk amid the narrow Okavango waterways of the Nxabega concession."
The sun setting, reflecting our shape in shadows on the tall reeds as we passed, then 'sundowners' while floating amid lillies now closed from the faded light. Sitting and sipping in silence, the only sounds the noises of the African bush. Moving as the pale blue sky fades to violet and pink, then to orange, indigo and, finally, the African starlit sky.
