Start anticipating your Tanzanian adventure with a short summary of what you can expect each day on safari to bring.
This adventure begins at Kilimanjaro International Airport and ends at Dar es Salaam International Airport.
DAY 1: ARUSHA
On arrival, you will be warmly welcomed by a member of the &Beyond team and driven to your lodge.
Situated beneath the towering peaks of Mount Meru and Kilimanjaro, Arusha is renowned as the safari capital of Tanzania and is the ideal place to begin your Tanzanian adventure.
Spend the night in a cottage at Legendary Lodge. Your stay includes breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Day 2 - 3: Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you will be driven to Arusha Airport to catch a flight to Seronera Airstrip. You will be met by a member of our team, who will drive you to your lodge.
The Serengeti National Park is one of the world's most celebrated wilderness areas. Tanzania's oldest game reserve, it is the setting for the annual Great Wildebeest Migration, involving an estimated three million antelope, as well as home to exceptional resident game.
Enjoy two nights in a one-bedroomed villa at Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti.Your stay includes meals, beverages, local wines, spirits and beers, as well as a private half-day game drive for two daily.
Day 4 - 5: Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you will return to the airstrip for a flight to Sasakwa Airstrip, from where you will be driven to your camp.
Experience two nights in a lavish tent at Singita Explore Mobile Tented Camp. Your stay includes breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, teas, coffees, a private vehicle, chef, camp host, guide and drinks (excluding champagne).
Day 6 - 7: Ngorongoro Crater
You will be driven to Sasakwa Airstrip, from where a flight will take you to Manyara Airstrip. A member of the &Beyond team will be waiting to take you to your lodge.
Once a gigantic volcano, the Ngorongoro Crater is now the largest intact caldera in the world. Nearly three million years old, it shelters one of the world's most beautiful wildlife havens, with residents such as black rhino, giant tusked elephant, black maned lion and cheetah.
Relax for two nights in a suite at &Beyond Ngorongoro Crater Lodge, situated on the Crater rim. Your stay includes meals, game drives in the Crater, laundry, soft drinks, house wines and local spirits.
Day 8 - 11: &Beyond Mnemba Island
Depart for Manyara Airstrip by road and take a flight to Zanzibar International Airport. One arrival, you will be met by a member of the &Beyond team, who will drive you to the crossing point, where a boat will be waiting to take you to Mnemba.
&Beyond Mnemba Island lies off the northeastern tip of Zanzibar. Surrounded by an atoll of breathtaking coral reefs, it boasts some of Africa's most magnificent dive sites. The calm seas surrounding Mnemba offer irresistible opportunities for snorkelling, scuba diving and swimming.
Indulge in four nights in a luxury banda at &Beyond Mnemba Island Lodge. Your stay includes meals, soft drinks, house wines, local beers and spirits, snorkelling, kayaking, salt water fly fishing, windsurfing and scuba diving (on proof of a valid diving certificate; diving courses are available at additional cost).
Day 12: Departure
After breakfast, return to Zanzibar by boat. A member of the &Beyond team will be waiting to drive you back to Zanzibar International Airport, where you will catch a flight to Dar es Salaam.
