DAY 1: DAR ES SALAAM
On arrival at Dar es Salaam International Airport you will be warmly welcomed by a member of the &Beyond team, who will drive you to your hotel.
Despite its name, which means 'abode of peace' in Arabic, Dar es Salaam is Tanzania's largest and busiest city. It is the country's most important business and commercial hub and is situated right on the Indian Ocean. It is the main port of call for most visitors, as it is the ideal place from which to access both the wilderness areas and the beaches of Tanzania and Zanzibar. Most visitors en route to the better-known Tanzanian attractions are surprised by the charm of this unassuming city and find themselves yearning for more time to explore its hidden secrets.

Day 2 - 4: Selous Game Reserve
Enjoy a wholesome breakfast before you are driven back to Dar es Salaam International Airport, where you will board a scheduled flight to the Selous Game Reserve. On arrival, a vehicle will be waiting to take you to the lodge or camp of your choice.
Secluded and off the beaten track, the Selous Game Reserve offers a slice of undisturbed wilderness, teeming with a spectacular array of fauna and flora. Its dramatic landscapes and great diversity of wildlife has earned it the status of a World Heritage Site. The Selous is one of the few big game reserves to allow hiking, offering wildlife enthusiasts the chance to explore Tanzania's pristine landscapes on foot.
Enjoy three nights at your choice of the following:
- A stone and palm thatch banda at Beho Beho. Your includes three meals daily, all drinks (except champagne), laundry and safari adventures. Adventures include walking safaris, boat cruises and game drives.
- One night in an open-fronted thatch cottage at Sand Rivers, followed by two nights of fly-camping in a charming tent set on a sand bank or close to one of the lakes. Your stay includes three meals daily, all drinks (except champagne), laundry, safari adventures, and picnic and bush lunches. Adventures include game drives, walking safaris, a boat cruise and fishing.
- A luxury safari tent on a timber platform at Siwandu Camp. Your stay include three meals daily, tea, coffee, basic laundry, all drinks (except champagne), two adventures per day and park fees. Adventures include morning and evening game drives, boat cruises and guided walks.
Day 5: Departure
After a delicious breakfast you will be driven to the airstrip for a return flight to Dar es Salaam Domestic Airport.
