Super Seven & Table Mountain
7 days / 6 nights
Start anticipating your sea and safari adventure with a short summary of what you can expect each day to bring.
This adventure begins at OR Tambo International Airport and ends at Cape Town International Airport.
DAY 1 - 3: MADIKWE GAME RESERVE
On arrival at OR Tambo International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a member of the &Beyond team, who will drive you to the Federal Air Hanger, where you will board a flight to Madikwe Game Reserve.
A diverse combination of bushveld and the semi-arid Kalahari, the malaria-free Madikwe Game Reserve boasts the Super Seven, adding elusive cheetah and endangered African wild dog to the already famous Big Five. The reserve is famed for Operation Phoenix, the world’s largest game translocation exercise, successfully introducing more than 8 000 animals of 28 species, including lion, elephant, buffalo and white rhino, since 1991. The Madikwe region is rich in history, having seen the passage of the famed warrior Mzilikazi, as well as explorers, traders and missionaries that included Dr David Livingstone and Sir Cornwallis Harris.
Relax for three nights in a villa at Jamala Madikwe Royal Safari Lodge. Your stay includes complimentary welcome drinks, all meals, all local drinks (including a selection of house wines), teas and coffees, twice daily game drives and road transport between the lodge and the airstrip.
Day 4 - 6: Cape Town
After breakfast, you will be driven to the airstrip to board a flight back to OR Tambo International Airport, where you will connect to a domestic flight to Cape Town International Airport. A member of the &Beyond team will be waiting for you on arrival to drive you to your hotel.
With Table Mountain at its heart and two oceans at its feet, the city of Cape Town is strategically situated at the south-western tip of Africa. Vibrant, cosmopolitan and an eclectic mix of old and new, this laid-back city is as much at home with its 17th century castle — whose cannons have never been fired in anger — as it is with its sleek skyscrapers and trendy malls. Home to South Africa’s first mosque, oldest wine farm, a 350-year-old garden and timelessly beautiful beaches, it’s no surprise the legendary Flying Dutchman and his spectral ship have spent eternity sailing the city’s shores.
Relax in a superior room at Kensington Place for three nights. Your stay is on a bed and breakfast basis, including breakfast daily, champagne on arrival, a bottle of wine in your room and a gift from the hotel.
Day 7: Departure
After breakfast, a member of the &Beyond team will drive you back to Cape Town International Airport.
