Start anticipating your African adventure with a short summary of what you can expect each day on safari to bring.

This adventure begins and ends at OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg.

DAY 1 - 4: SABI SAND GAME RESERVE

On arrival at OR Tambo International Airport you will be warmly welcomed by a member of the &Beyond team, who will drive you to the Federal Air hanger, where you will board a flight to the Sabi Sand Game Reserve.

The Sabi Sand Game Reserve border the Kruger National Park and, with no fences between it and the Kruger, animals wander across vast stretches of grazing land as they did years and years ago. With one of the richest game populations in South Africa, the changes of seeing the Big Five, as well as a host of other wildlife, are excellent.

Spend four nights in a luxury suite at Chitwa Chitwa. Your stay includes all meals, soft and alcoholic drinks, teas and coffees, two game drives per day, daily walking safaris, laundry and return road transport between Chitwa Airstrip and the lodge.

Day 5 - 8: Kalahari Desert

After breakfast, you will be taken to the airstrip to board a flight to Kruger Mpumalanga Airport, where you will connect onto a domestic flight back to OR Tambo International Airport. A member of the &Beyond team will be waiting to take you to the Anglo American hanger, where you will catch a third flight into the Kalahari Desert.

The stark yet beautiful Kalahari is much more than the stereotypical desert. An area of vast open savannas, sandy dunes and diverse habitats, it is home to an amazing animal population that includes zebra, giraffe and white rhino, as well as oryx, eland and desert black rhino. The Kalahari grasslands offer exceptional opportunities for viewing cheetah, while the lions of the Kalahari are famed for their large size and dark manes.

Relax for four nights in a suite at Tswalu the Motse. Your stay includes all meals, a private vehicle, personal guide and tracker for the duration of your stay, all beverages, including wines, laundry and a valet.
