Start anticipating your African adventure with a short summary of what you can expect each day on safari to bring.
This safari begins at Cape Town International Airport and ends at George Airport.
DAY 1: CAPE TOWN
On arrival at Cape Town International Airport you will be warmly
welcomed by a member of the &Beyond team, who will drive you to your hotel. Your rental car will be delivered to
your door the following day.
Founded in 1685, many of Stellenbosch's original gabled and thatched buildings still stand. Apart from the world famous Wine Route, Stellenbosch boasts brandy museums, churches and beautiful old houses.
Enjoy three nights in a standard ensuite room at Kleine Zalze Lodge. Your stay includes bed and breakfast.
Day 2: Stellenbosch
Enjoy 18 holes of golf at the De Zalze Golf Club.
Set among working
vineyards, De Zalze offers a mix of parkland holes that follow the banks of the Blaauwklippen River, which is incorporated in several water features.
The Cape Dutch clubhouse boasts
spectacular views of vineyards and mountains.
Day 3: Stellenbosch
Enjoy 18 holes of golf at Clovelly Golf Club.
Picturesque and
challenging, Clovelly is famous for its rolling fairways, undulating holes
and magnificent landscaping. Sand dunes, natural water features and a wide range of indigenous fauna and flora abound. Both course and
clubhouse enjoy magnificent views of the mountains and False Bay.
Day 4: Hermanus
After a scrumptious breakfast you will drive to Hermanus.
Acknowledged as the best land-based whale watching site in the
world, Hermanus even has an official whale crier! Once hunted almost to
extinction, these gentle giants loll within stone's throw of the
rocky shoreline.
Spend two nights in a standard ensuite room at the Abalone Guest Lodge. Your stay includes breakfast.
Day 5: Hermanus
Enjoy 18 holes of golf at the Hermanus Golf Club.
This classic country course is set in gently rolling mountains. Water
features and rocky outcrops test the skills, while
pleasant grassy mounds add definition and shape. The course has spectacular views of the bay, the mountains and the forests.
Day 7 - 8: George
Today you will drive to George.
Tucked between the Outeniqua Mountains and the Indian
Ocean, George lies at the heart of the Garden Route, amongst spectacular forests, lakes, rivers and mountains. While the town is a golfing mecca, the secluded beaches at nearby
Victoria Bay are ideal for surfing.
Relax for three nights in a standard ensuite room at the Fancourt Hotel & Country Club Estate. Your stay includes breakfast and unlimited golf on the Outenique or Montagu courses. Non golfers receive a Fancourt facial, deluxe pedicure and Swedish massage.
Day 10: Departure
Drive to George Airport, where you will drop off your rental car.

Day 10 & 11: &Beyond Kwandwe Private Game Reserve
Take a scenic drive to the &Beyond Kwandwe Private Game Reserve in the Eastern Cape.
&Beyond Kwandwe is home to lion, black and white rhino, buffalo, elephant and cheetah, amongst others. It also provides sanctuary for other rare species, such as the black wildebeest, crowned eagle and black-footed cat. A biological melting pot, the Reserve boasts a spectacular display of winter flowering aloes.
Spend two nights in a luxurious suite at Great Fish River Lodge and enjoy twice-daily game
drives, guided bush walks and fishing.
Day 12: Departure
Drive to Port Elizabeth Airport to drop off your rental car.
