This adventure begins at King Shaka (Durban) International Airport and ends at Maputo International Airport.

DAY 1 - 3: PHINDA PRIVATE GAME RESERVE

On arrival at King Shaka International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a member of the &Beyond team, who will assist you onto your transfer vehicle to Phinda Private Game Reserve.

Set within easy reach of the Indian Ocean coastline, &Beyond Phinda is known for its abundant wildlife, diversity of habitats and range of safari activities. Thanks to its coastal rainfall pattern, the Reserve enjoys a lush, green environment that contains seven distinct ecosystems, known as the Seven Worlds of Wonder. This fascinating variety of landscape and vegetation shelters an abundance of wildlife, including not only the Big Five but many rarer and more easily spotted species, such as the elusive cheetah or the scarce black rhino. Adding to Phinda's wildlife charms, the marine diversity of nearby Sodwana Bay is easily accessible, with scuba diving, fishing and even turtle watching only some of the adventures available from Phinda.

Relax for three nights in a suite with plunge pool and romantic al fresco shower at Phinda Mountain Lodge or in a glass-walled suite in the midst of rare sand forest at Phinda Forest Lodge. Your stay includes three meals daily, soft drinks, house wines, local brand spirits and beers, tea and coffee, emergency medical evacuation insurance, laundry and daily lodge activities.

Adventures include twice-daily game drives, nature walks, birdwatching and riverboat cruises. Optional Phinda Adventures, available at an additional cost, include beach excursions, snorkelling, scuba diving, deep-sea fishing, turtle viewing and cultural visits. Specialist Safaris, also at an additional cost, include Birding Safaris, Rhino Capture and Research and Walking Safaris.

Day 4 - 7: Mozambique

After a delicious breakfast served at the lodge, members of the Phinda Mountain Lodge team will assist you onto a transfer vehicle that will be ready and waiting to take you to a place of utter beach bliss - White Pearl Resorts, Ponta Mamoli.

Relax and unwind at this exclusive beach resort set within the dunes along a stretch of untouched shoreline in southern Mozambique. Here pure relaxation blends seamlessly with truly warm and welcoming Mozambican hospitality, giving you the ideal beach getaway experience in a place where shoes are strictly optional. Pristine beaches and 2 kilometres of spectacular Indian Ocean frontage offer idyllic views and the surrounding tracts of bush add that extra something special to this beautiful place. Nestled within a cool, sheltered bay, this barefoot paradise is set a mere 100 kilometres south of the country’s capital city, Maputo.
