This safari begins at Cape Town International Airport and ends at Port Elizabeth International Airport.

DAY 1 - 3: CAPE TOWN

On arrival at Cape Town International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a member of the &Beyond team, who will drive you to your hotel.

With Table Mountain at its heart and two oceans at its feet, the city of Cape Town is home to South Africa's first mosque, its oldest wine farm, a 350-year-old garden and timelessly beautiful beaches. Vibrant, cosmopolitan and an eclectic mix of old and new, this laid-back city is as much at home with its 17th century castle as it is with its sleek skyscrapers and trendy malls.

Relax for three nights in the three-bedroom Ellerman Villa at Ellerman House, with its sea views. Your stay includes a daily shuttle service to the V&A Waterfront, breakfast, laundry, tea, coffee, spirits, beer and house wines, and snacks.

Day 4 - 6: Knysna

After a scrumptious breakfast you will be driven back to Cape Town International Airport, where you will board a flight to George. A member of the &Beyond team will be waiting in George and will take you on the scenic drive to Knysna.

From its forests, where elephant still roam, to lagoons filled with oysters, Knysna is famous for many things. This beautiful town is surrounded by rolling hills and a huge lagoon, guarded jealously by two massive cliff faces known as The Heads. Visitors are spoiled for choice - browse quaint handicraft shops, soak up the sand on the beaches, hike through enchanted forests and stand face to face with graceful giants at the Knysna Elephant Park.

Spend three nights in the elegant suites at Pezula Private Castle. Your stay includes three meals a day, tea, coffee and refreshments, as well as a selection of resort activities.

Day 7 - 9: &Beyond Kwandwe Private Game Reserve

You will be driven to Plettenberg Bay, from where a light aircraft will take you to &Beyond Kwandwe Private Game Reserve.

&Beyond Kwandwe lies in the heart of South Africa’s malaria-free Eastern Cape and is home to thousands of animals, including lion, black and white rhino, buffalo, elephant and cheetah. The Reserve also provides sanctuary for threatened species, such as the blue crane, Knysna woodpecker, Cape grysbok, black wildebeest, crowned eagle and black-footed cat. Kwandwe flanks the banks of the Great Fish River, which meanders through this pristine, private wilderness.

Indulge in three nights at the private safari villa of Melton Manor, which come complete with a personal chef, private butler and dedicated ranger and tracker team, as well as a private safari vehicle. Your stay include three meals daily, soft drinks, house wines, local brand spirits and beers, teas and coffees, emergency medical evacuation insurance and laundry. Adventures include twice-daily game drives and guided bush walks, as well as fishing. Scenic coastal flights and Specialist Safaris are available at an additional cost.
