This safari begins and ends at OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg.
Combine the very best of two spectacular game reserves with your choice of the following two options:
DAY 1 - 6: SABI SAND & PHINDA
On arrival at OR Tambo International Airport you will be warmly welcomed by a member of the &Beyond team, who will assist you with your onward journey to Benoni Airfield, from where a flight will take you to the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, where you will spend two nights at Kirkman's Kamp.
Bordering the Kruger National Park, the Sabi Sand Game Reserve guarantees a never to be forgotten experience of the African bush. With no fences between the reserve and the vast Kruger Park, animals wander across vast stretches of grazing land as they did decades ago. With one of the richest game populations in the country, the chances of seeing the Big Five (lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant and rhino) are excellent.
Return to Skukuza Airport, where you will board a light aircraft flight to Phinda Private Game Reserve.
Within easy reach of the Indian Ocean, &Beyond Phinda is known for abundant wildlife, diverse habitats and thrilling safaris. The Reserve contains seven distinct ecosystems, known as the 'Seven Worlds of Wonder'. This variety of landscape shelters the Big Five, and many rarer and less easily spotted species, such as the elusive cheetah and scarce black rhino. The golden beaches of Sodwana Bay are nearby, with scuba diving, fishing and even turtle watching available.
Spend three nights at your choice of the following:
Day 1 - 6: Ngala & Phinda
On arrival at OR Tambo International Airport you will be warmly welcomed by a member of the &Beyond team, who will take you to Benoni Airfield, from where a flight will take you to &Beyond Ngala Private Game Reserve, where you will spend two nights at either Ngala Safari Lodge or Ngala Tented Camp.
&Beyond Ngala shares an unfenced boundary with the famous Kruger National Park, which allows a spectacular diversity of wildlife to move through this immense wilderness. Ngala means lion in Shangaan and the reserve lives up to its name supporting several prides of these powerful cats, as well as elephant, spotted hyena, giraffe, buffalo and white rhino. It also offers spectacular sightings of the shy leopard and rare African wild dog.
Return to Skukuza Airport where you will board a light aircraft flight to Phinda Private Game Reserve.

- Phinda Mountain Lodge or Phinda Forest Lodge (when choosing to stay at Ngala Safari Lodge)
- Phinda Vlei Lodge or Phinda Rock Lodge (when choosing to stay at Ngala Tented Camp)
Day 6: Departure (for all options)
Return to Benoni Airfield for your onward journey to OR Tambo International Airport, where your journey with us will end.
