DAY 1 - 2: CHOBE NATIONAL PARK

On arrival at Maun Airport you will be warmly welcomed by a member of the &Beyond team, who will help you onto a light aircraft flight to Kasane, from where you will be driven to your camp.

One of the top wilderness reserves in the world, Chobe National Park is home to an exceptional concentration of elephant. Throughout the year, herds of buffalo and elephant can be seen drinking at the river's edge, with their numbers swelling to hundreds and thousands during the dry season. Two antelope, the puku and the Chobe bushbuck, cannot be seen anywhere in Botswana except the Chobe riverfront. A famous corner of the national park, Savute is home to enigmatic channel of the same name, which periodically dries up and disappears. The channel has recently been flowing for the first time in decades, attracting wildlife from near and far. Savute is also famous for its large numbers of the king of all beasts - the lion.

Spend two nights enjoying the comfort of fully serviced wilderness camping at private campsites at &Beyond Chobe Under Canvas or &Beyond Savute Under Canvas.

Day 2 - 4: Okavango Delta

A light aircraft flight will take you from Kasane to the Okavango Delta

A maze of sparkling lagoons, meandering channels and overgrown islands, the Okavango Delta lies at the heart of the Kalahari Desert. Known as 'the river that never finds the sea', crystal clear channels spread over the thirstlands of the Kalahari with their papyrus fringed banks and fertile floating islands. Adapted for a life in and out of water, the elegant red lechwe and shy sitatunga are found in this watery wilderness. Lion, leopard, cheetah and wild dog share the floodplains with large herds of elephant and buffalo, while hippo inhabit the deeper channels and lagoons.

Relax for two nights at &Beyond Nxabega Okavango Tented Camp, overlooking the floodplains of the Delta or &Beyond Sandibe Okavango Safari Lodge, situated between the grassy plains and the permanent waterways.

Enjoy twice-daily game drives and nature walks. Mokoro (traditional dugout canoe) expeditions and boat cruises are also available at &Beyond Nxabega.

Day 5 - 6: Okavango Delta

Venture deeper into the heart of the Delta, where sparkling channels wind their way between splendidly isolated islands.

Indulge for two nights at &Beyond Xaranna Okavango Delta Camp, situated on a Delta island, or &Beyond Xudum Okavango Delta Lodge, surrounded by a mosaic of papyrus beds.

Explore this unique environment on game drives, nature walks, mokoro (traditional canoe) excursions and boat trips.

Day 7: Departure
