DAY 1 - 2: VICTORIA FALLS

A member of the &Beyond team will welcome you at Victoria Falls Airport and take you to your lodge.

Victoria Falls is one of the world’s greatest natural spectacles. Declared a World Heritage Site, the Falls are the stuff of legends, romance and myth. Long before the Scottish missionary and explorer, Dr David Livingstone ‘discovered’ the Falls in 1855, the local Batonga people had named them Mosi-oa-Tunya, ‘the smoke that thunders’. Livingstone named them for his queen. Today, the village rightly claims the title of Adrenaline Capital of Africa, home to a seemingly endless variety of adventure sports from bungee jumping to canoeing and white water rafting.

Spend two nights at Ilala Lodge. Your stay includes breakfast.

Day 3 - 4: Chobe National Park

You will be driven across the border to Kasane and onwards to a secluded campsite near the Chobe River.

One of the top wilderness reserves in the world, the Chobe National Park is home to a massive population of elephant. Herds of buffalo and elephant drink at the river's edge, with their numbers swelling into thousands in the dry season. Two region specific antelope, the puku and the Chobe bushbuck, can only be seen here.

Indulge in the sounds of Africa for two nights in a spacious ensuite tent at &Beyond Chobe Under Canvas.

Day 5 - 6: Moremi / Savute Game Reserves

You will be driven to Kasane Airport, where you will hop on board a light aircraft for a flight to Khwai Airstrip if you are en route to Moremi or Savute Airstrip if your destination of choice is Savute. From there you will be assisted to your choice of accommodation.

The only proclaimed wildlife reserve in the Okavango Delta, Moremi Game Reserve contains about a quarter of the Okavango's breathtaking waterways, islands and lagoons and is widely regarded as one of Botswana's most beautiful reserves.

Some of the largest concentrations of wildlife in Southern Africa are found in the Savute area. Situated in the famous Chobe National Park, Savute is best known for its channel, which mysteriously fills up and dries up periodically, seemingly unrelated to the rainfall.

Day 7 - 9: Selinda Reserve

Another short flight will take you to the spectacular Selinda Reserve for your canoe safari.

The Selinda Reserve links the Okavango Delta with the Linyanti and Kwando wetlands and river systems. Abundant wildlife is attracted to the vast floodplains and grasslands along the river. Predator sightings are exceptional, including lion, leopard, wild dog and cheetah.

Traverse the magnificent Selinda Spillway by canoe on the four-day Selinda Canoe Trail. Sleep on the river banks in a basic tent set up at the end of a day's canoeing. Tuck into early morning coffee and snacks before setting out on the water, stopping for brunch on the shady banks. Explore the wilderness on short walking safaris throughout your journey.

Day 10 - 11: Okavango Delta

Head deep into the world's only inland delta to round off your trip.

A maze of sparkling lagoons, meandering channels and overgrown islands, the Okavango Delta lies at the heart of the Kalahari Desert. Known as 'the river that never finds the sea', crystal clear channels spread over the thirstlands. The elegant red lechwe and shy sitatunga are found in this watery wilderness. Lion, leopard, cheetah and African wild dog share the floodplains with large herds of elephant and buffalo. Hippo inhabit the deeper channels and lagoons.
