This adventure begins and ends at Maun International Airport in Botswana.

DAY 1 - 2: SANDIBE OKAVANGO SAFARI LODGE

On arrival at Maun International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a member of the &Beyond team, who will direct you onto your helicopter flight to &Beyond Sandibe Okavango Safari Lodge, set on the edge of the Okavango Delta.

A maze of sparkling lagoons, meandering channels and overgrown island teeming with wildlife, the Okavango Delta lies like a sparkling jewel at the heart of the Kalahari Desert. Known as the river that never finds the sea, the crystal clear channels spread over the thirstlands of the Kalahari with their papyrus-fringed banks and fertile floating islands. Adapted for a life in and out of water, the elegant red lechwe and shy sitatunga are found in this watery wilderness. Lion, leopard, cheetah and wild dog share the floodplains with herds of elephant and buffalo. Hippo inhabit the deeper channels and lagoons. Iridescent dragonflies, frogs of every colour and jewel-like kingfishers inhabit the banks of the glistening waterways.

Spend two nights in a cottage tucked beneath a cool forest canopy at &Beyond Sandibe Okavango Safari Lodge. Venture out in search of wildlife on twice-daily game drives and bush walks or indulge in some birdwatching or star gazing.

Day 3 - 4: Nxabega Okavango Tented Camp

Today you will be flown by helicopter to &Beyond Nxabega Okavango Tented Camp, situated between the permanent channels and the grassy floodplains.

Relax for two nights in an ensuite safari tent set beneath a canopy of African ebony trees. Adventures include meandering along the floodplains of the Delta by mokoro (dugout canoe), exploring the deeper channels by motorboat, nature walks accompanied by a professional guide or tracking game through mopane forests and open grasslands in an open 4x4 safari vehicle.

Day 5 - 6: &Beyond Xaranna / Xudum

Embark on yet another helicopter flight deep into the heart of the Delta.
