Start at the Dhow Harbour in Malindi, where slave ships brought their cargo and the house of Tippu Tip, a notorious slave trader. Visit the Anglican Church on the old slave market site. Then drive to the Mbweni Ruins of a school for freed slave girls, Livingstone House and Mangapwani Beach, where slaves waited for the dhows. Enjoy lunch at Mangapwani.
